Since October 2016, my graphic novel "Irmina" is out in a dutch version at the publishing house soul food comics.
The first edition was very quickly sold, but from December 2016, there will be a second one.
There are also several reviews about the book which are collected here. On October 14th, it was 5stars-rated and chosen as "book of the week" by the Belgian "De Standdaard", by Toon Horsten: „Je hebt schuld en onschuld, en er is de grijze zone tussen de twee. In de imponierende striproman Irmina stelt de Duitse tekenares Barbara Yelin zich de vraag waar onschold ophoudt en schuld begint.“

Für den Tip Berlin durfte ich dieses Jahr eine Kunstedition gestalten, die vom Shining Labor als vierfarbiger Siebdruck auf 50x70 cm gedruckt wird. Die Auflage sind 100 Stück, signiert. Bestellen kann man es hier.

Parallel dazu ist in der Novemberausgabe ein schöner Text von Jacek Slaski erschienen.

Eine enorm große Freude:

Auf dem Comic-Salon Erlangen habe ich dieses Jahr den Max und Moritz-Preis als “beste deutschsprachige Comic-Künstlerin” bekommen.

On the 6th of February 16, “Irmina” (Actes Sud/L’An 2) won the “Prix Cheminots de la BD historique et sociale 2015″. I was invited to be present at the festival in St. Denis, à l’Académie du cirque Fratellini, and very happy to receive the award. Merci aux cheminots et à tout les organisateurs!
